For T-Bone

  • 1 T-bone steak.
  • 1 Tbsp of virgin olive oil.
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary.
  • 2 Tbsp of butter.
  • 2 Cloves of minced garlic and the rest to add with the steak into the oven.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

For Mushroom Sauce

  • 4 to 5 sliced mushrooms.
  • 1 Tbsp of butter.
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic.
  • 4 Tbsp of whipping cream.
  • 2 Tbsp of Creamy Cheddar Cheese.
  • Pinch of Salt & pepper.

Preparing The T-Bone

Preheat the oven, bring the steaks to room temperature by bringing the steak out of the fridge 1 hour before cooking it.

Season both sides with salt and pepper (and steak seasoning if needed).

Add olive oil and butter to a pan and turn up high, allow the skillet to become scorching hot. Place the T-bone face down and sear undisturbed for 2 minutes. Flip the steak and sear for an additional 2 minutes. This will give your steaks a nice seared golden edge.

Add minced garlic and fresh rosemary to the skillet and remove it from the surface of the stove, put it into another oven pan and we will use the previous pan in making the mushroom sauce.

Let it cool down for 10 mins, then put it into the oven and cook it for 10 more mins on 180 degrees, covered with a baking sheet.

Remove steak from oven and spoon the garlic and rosemary flavored butter over the steak, Plate the steaks and lightly cover with tin foil and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. This is important to bring your steak to its final serving temperature.

Preparing The Mushroom sauce (optional)

In the same pan of steak, after removing the steak add 2 Tbsp of butter.

Then throw down your sliced mushrooms, add a pinch of salt and pepper. When the mushrooms about to cook add the whipped cream then stir well, after that add the cream cheese to give it a great heavy consistency and stir again as well.

Now your topping mushroom sauce is ready to add it on your T-bone steak.
