Pastrami Keto Pizza

Pizza sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp of tomato paste
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 4 garlic
  • Pinch of oregano
  • ¼ tsp of paprika
  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • ¼ tsp of fresh thyme

Pizza dough:

  • 400 gr of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tbsp of cream cheese (We used one square of Kiri cheese)
  • ⅓ cup of coconut flour
  • ⅓ cup of almond flour
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 2 tsp of psyllium husk
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 2 tsp of apple vinegar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of dried thyme


Preparing Pizza Tomato Sauce:


Add the olive oil or butter to a saucepot.


Add the minced garlic


Cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, or just until the garlic is soft and fragrant.


Add the tomato paste and stir then add the chopped tomatoes.


Add salt, oregano, some freshly cracked pepper, and a pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.


Cover the pot, allow the pot to come to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low, and let simmer for 15 minutes, and go prepare your pizza dough.


Preparing Pizza Dough:


In an oven safe bowl, add the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese and let it melt in a preheated oven for 2 to 3 mins.


Add to the cheese, 3 whole eggs, almond flour, coconut flour and give it a good mix.


Then add the baking powder, spices , psyllium husk and apple vinegar.


Knead until the dough forms a nice dough and the sides of the bowl are all collected.


In a tray covered with a baking sheet, roll out the dough into pizza crust.


Put in the oven for 15 mins until it’s medium cooked.


Top with the tomato sauce, add the rest of the toppings: pastrami, salami, mozzarella cheese.


Bake until cheese is browning and bubbly, about 10 to 15 mins.
